Do you get it?

I said to him, “If you cannot come to terms with the fact that you are no more than a primate, then you shall forever be trapped in your own ego thinking you are something you are not.”

He doesn’t get it.  He is young though, he has much time to figure it out.  Or so we hope.

The trick is to learn to see the world realistically first, before moving on to metaphysics.  If reality is skipped the metaphysics will always be off.  How can one possibly know the creator if one cannot even discern what is right in front of one’s face, when what is right in front of one’s face, metaphysically speaking, is the creator?   It is the circle a young mind cannot wrap itself around.   How can one know the ultimate truth if one cannot even grasp the truth regarding one’s own Self?  Needless to say, it cannot be done.

Let’s look at something right in front of our faces, or should I say right in front of mine, and I will share it with you.

I am transitioning my personal life into that of an urban farmer.  Being involved with the life process of so many different lives makes one quite aware of the struggle for life.  I grew up on farms too, so I am already slightly accustomed to the struggle.  Killing animals is a way of life.  They eat things I cannot eat, therefore I eat them.  In today’s culture though, this is not the case with meat purchased at the store.  They eat the same thing that those same companies try to feed me; corn and soy.  I do not wish to eat corn or soy because it is GMO and laden with pesticides and herbicides.  So I have my own chickens now.  They will eat my grass and other things which I do not eat, and then I will eat them.  Simple and beautiful.

Chickens are curious creatures.  Because I live in town I want my chickens to be tame so that other people can share in the experience.  I ultimately want people to see how easy it is to care for one’s own food.  In order to do this I am primarily using two techniques.  The first is keeping them in close quarters as babies.  Doing this ensures that they are calm and comfortable around us primates.  This works quite well.  If they are out in the yard and fly out of their make shift fence I am able to walk right up to them, pick them up, and put them back.  They do not run from me at all.  Keeping them close by young ensures trusting chickens.

The second technique is just as simple, but not nearly as pleasant if you really think about it.  If you follow me to the end of this line of thought my hope is that your mind will see that this second technique has been being applied to you all of your life.  If your mind awakes to that fact, then maybe together we can do something about it.

The second technique could almost be considered ruthless, and indeed, if the chickens could speak and think like a human they would most certainly say it is ruthless.  Or would they?  As you will come to see a great many humans can speak and think, yet for some reason they do not consider it ruthless.  My hope is that this occurs simply because they do not realize it is happening.  Like the chicken they cannot see everything that is going on.

So what is this technique I speak of?  It is quite easy.  It is super-duper easy.  Not only is it easy, it works one hundred times better than the first technique.  I starve them.  Not till they are weak or sick.  I don’t starve them such that they suffer, but just enough that when I feed them, they love me for it.  Once they associate the food with me, they are mine.  Well, until someone else feeds them that is.  Does this illustrate the power created by withholding something the chickens need?

What power would I have over the chicken if it was free to find its own food?  In order to maintain my power over it I must cage it, make it familiar to me, and trick it into loving me.  It is a very simple thing. Watch one of those YouTube videos where people are storming a store to buy junk, and then come watch my chicks feed when I withhold food for an hour.  Just an hour.  They are by no means starving to death, not even close, yet when that food hits the bowl they are going bananas almost exactly like those primates in those videos.  It is quite a phenomenon.

A good life has been being kept from you.  The ones with the power only give enough of the good life to you to keep you enamored.  Just like the chicken.  I already know all the arguments.  They are mute.  For thousands of years the way to live has been known.  For thousands of years those in power have been actively preventing that way of life in order to maintain their power.  If one studies such things the evidence is overwhelming.

Wording it this way creates a sense that those in power are intentionally being cruel.  It is highly likely that some of them are.  It is also quite probable that a great many of them are simply doing what was done before them without thinking about what they are really doing.  For instance, the city council that I am about to drop truth bombs on are not setting around intentionally plotting to keep us all starved of a good life enough to be enamored to them.  They are simply doing what was done before them without deep thought.  They are not being intentionally cruel, but they are being cruel all the same.

They have the means to set us free, yet they do not do it.  The issue is that humans, unlike chickens are not restricted to certain environments.  My chickens would die if I did not cage them.  They are not meant to live here.  It is unnatural.  Humans on the other hand are the exact opposite.  It is perfectly natural for us to be here.   You see, it is the culture that is broken; not the human being.  We did not evolve for over four million years to sit around and eat poison while watching a TV.   That is what the powerful gave us to keep everyone enamored.  How much more enamored would my chickens be if I could give them chickovision?  I could just feed them whatever I wish, give them something to watch, and they would just love me for it.

Do you get it?
