I posted something on FB the other day and a few people
commented on it. Usually when I post
about stuff going on in the world no one ever comments, so seeing comments, I
have been thinking about it. What is
interesting to me is that some people will comment about what I post on FB in
person, but not on FB itself. Weirder
yet is that no one ever wants to talk about what is going on in the world face
to face.
Plain and simple, it is uncomfortable for most people to
talk about because the shit going on is so messed up. People generally avoid feeling helpless. When one realizes how it needs to be versus
how it actually is, one sees that the gap is quite large. I know this feeling well. No one knows what to do. So everyone does nothing.
Avoiding feeling helpless in order to deal with being
helpless is a victim mentality. That way
of thinking will ensure helplessness for life.
Thinking in terms of war, us versus them, thinking one is helpless is
exactly what they want. It ensures their
success. Believing you are helpless in a
universe of infinite possibility is a victim mentality because it means one believes
a lie, thus victim. In reality there is
no such thing as a victim.
I can't tell you what to do.
You have to find your own way.
Just like I did. All I can do is
tell you what I do, and maybe a bit of why.
Maybe from that you can draw your own conclusions. Ultimately, just like me, you have to look
yourself in the mirror every day. Do
what you do.
All those great people who everyone seems to look up to,
well, that is what they did. They found
their own way. Finding your way means
being you, to the best of your ability in all ways. For this to happen, one must first know their
own self. One must know why they do what
they do, in all ways at all times. There
is no slacking involved in this process. One cannot cut corners,
one cannot take short cuts, full knowledge of one's self or nothing at all.
If you are slacking you will never make it. Everyone, regardless of upbringing, must undo
what this culture has done to them.
Racism, sexism, greed, collectivism, violence, all of it. Absolutely everything must be redefined. Undoing all of these things is part of the so
called spiritual path. Enlightenment. Whatever.
They are all the same thing. It
all amounts to increasing awareness.
We all have to learn the same lessons in life. We all learn them in our own unique ways.
I've seen it somewhere that Mormons are the fastest growing
religion. I think I could make this
point without even using Mormons actually.
Use any religion as an example.
Why do they exist beyond a single generation? Especially considering that the majority know
that they are not accurate in all ways.
Why are so many religious? The
simple answer is; they recruit.
Religious organizations are in a perpetual state of
recruitment. Mormons are quite good at
it and are credited with being a rapidly growing religion, regardless of how
accurate its story is. Look at
scientology. Complete fact that it is
made up by a professional novelist, yet it has tons of followers. How is that possible? Certain people went out and convinced others
that it was true, that is how. The basis
of a group does not even have to be true; it just has to convince others it
is. How much easier than to have a group
actually based on truth?
It seems to me a great number of people who think they are
awake really are not. Or maybe it is
okay to say they are awake, but that they are still lying in bed. They have only opened their eyes and are
still laying their motionless. Maybe
becoming awake scares them so bad they just lay there. I don't know.
I am not one of those people who stands in front of an oncoming car like
a deer in the headlights. I am not
trying to discredit the power of thought and that simply being aware in and of
itself is not monumental. I am, however,
saying that it is not enough.
It is going to require active and perpetual conversion on
the level of organized religions to change the bullshit going on. A complete change of culture. I repeat.
A complete change of culture.
A complete change?
That seems impossible?
Is that the reason you do nothing? Complete change seems more than is possible?
If you feel this way, no offense, there is no nice way to
say it; you are not as aware as you would like to think you are. The universe is so full of things,
circumstances, events, where living beings are overcoming the odds that it is
quite simply a fact that it happens. It
happens a lot. Like all of the
time. Like it is happening right now.
The majority rules.
Plain and simple. When you look
at it in terms of energy, the dominating energy has the most effect. It is that simple. Until those who realize we can take care of
ourselves without taking advantage of others and the planet, until we are the
majority, this bullshit that is going on will continue.
For instance, I love to grow food. So making change in my own way, I attempt to
get others to do the same. It will be
hard at first. Maybe this first year I will only get a couple of people to do
it. I do not care. There are documented cases that can be found
on the web, where entire cities were transformed because a small group of
dedicated individuals wanted to grow real food. Imagine how people in that city now eat
vegetables that they never ate before because of that small group of
people. Those people are literally
saving lives.
The evidence is overwhelming that anything is possible if
one puts their mind to it.
Please keep in mind that I know all things are a
process. There are endless possibilities
regarding the wakefulness of individuals.
One can know one thing that is super advanced while be complete ignorant
still of another thing. It is a quite a
peculiar thing all in all. Either way,
it ALL has to be learned. Realize here
and now, you have no limitations, or should I say the only limitations you have
are the ones you say you have.
I have changed a lot of people over the years. It is hard work. Which are you? Are you the person who really is upset about
what is going on, or are you the person who just says they are? If you are not truly pissed off about what is
going on you are not as awake as you would like to think you are. By not awake, I mean you have not yet learned
to stick up for yourself fully. Not
being pissed would mean you do not care as much about yourself as you think you
do, or you would be near furious about what is going on in the world.
I act like my own church basically. I am in a state of perpetual "got to
wake people up, because if I don't we won't survive" mode. If you read my blogs at all you know I pretty
much operate at a full tilt all the time.
Before going into this mode of spreading it to others though, I figured
out myself first. In the process of
figuring myself out, I figured out a whole lot of other stuff. Naturally. Primarily I was figuring out what is going on
in the physical universe regarding what it is to be a human being. I study power a lot too. The reason I study power so much is because
it is the basis for all social activity between human beings. Don't think of power simply as coercive or
some negative thing one uses to control another. Love is quite powerful after all.
Those who can read, but do not, are just as ignorant as
those who cannot read at all.
I get the most frustrated with my inability to get people to
read books. I think there should be a
law requiring anyone who wants to vote be made to read certain books
first. I simply cannot explain the
thought of Carl Jung or Thomas Jefferson or Ralph Waldo Emerson or more
importantly Jiddu Krishnamurti. Only
they can do that, and since they are dead, it can only be done by reading their
writing. The power of their knowledge is
irreplaceable. It has no price, no
intrinsic value. It is so powerful it cannot
be measured. The entire life work of a
man, in plain writing, for anyone to read.
That is power. The list of people
who devoted their lives to studying various subjects is too long to list, yet
is readily available to any who seek it out.
If you are not reading books you are practically useless in
doing something to change the world.
It's true that anything is possible, but it is so outrageously
improbable that you will change the world if you're not reading books that you
have better odds of walking on water.
If you want to change the world--Know yourself--Educate
yourself--Constantly try to wake up others in your own unique way.
People all the time try to tell me that I would have better
luck if I were to not be so aggressive, not be so rude. This cracks me up because these people who
say this have never tried it themselves.
They have no idea what they are talking about. It makes them uncomfortable so they think I
should stop. They don't see all the
times it works. They are passing
judgment without ever having done it themselves, thus they are voicing opinions
without any substance. I ignore their
pleas, and do what I do. If I listened
to them I doubt I would have had near the impact that I have had.
I’ve changed more than a few lives by simply stating the
truth right to someone's face regardless of whatever consequence someone else might
foresee by my doing so. I told them, in my own way, and
it changed their lives. I’d say like 90%
of the people I know would say the way I said it was harsh, or mean, or rude,
or some negative connotation. Again,
they don’t know what they are talking about. These people are speaking from their feelings and not their mind. Essentially they are being immature and are allowing their feelings to override the rightness of what is being said.
Telling my friends nicely when they were being dumbasses more
often than not does not work. Think about it. If they were really truly being a dumbass would being nice about it be appropriate? That is
just how it works. I personally no
longer have an opinion about it. I don't
think about whether something is relatively good or bad, it varies with every
person, so logically it doesn't really exist at all.
In reality, irritating other peoples ignorance gets them to see their own ignorance. The trick is realizing it does not happen right on the spot, but takes time. Planting seeds I call it. I plants seeds of truth and then wait for the plant to grow and produce fruit. When I inform someone they are a bigot I do not ever expect them to admit it on the spot. Generally they get quite upset. That is to be expected. I expect them to message me months later and say, "You remember that one time, you were kind of right."

As Charlie Sheen would say, “Winning!”
Do what you do, but don't tell me you don't know what to
do. Tell me the truth and tell me you don't
want to do it, or you are still trying to figure it out. Don’t give me that helpless bullshit. If you are helpless you are part of the
problem.
If I can figure this shit out, anyone can.
If you have stepped out of this culture then you realize even poorest of Americans
is quite rich. If you have realized
this, then I will leave you with this…
"You take society as it is for granted. Why? You who don't belong to the poor class, who
are fairly well-to-do, why don't you revolt--not as a communist or a socialist,
but revolt against the whole social system?
You can afford to do it, so why don't you use your intelligence to find
out what is true and create a new society?
The poor man is not going to revolt, because he hasn't the energy or the
time to think; he is wholly occupied, he wants food, work. But you who have leisure, a little free time
to use your intelligence, why don't YOU revolt?
Why don't you find out what is a right society, a true society, and
build a new civilization? If it does not
begin with you, it will obviously not begin with the poor." That is by Jiddu Krishnamurti from his book
Think on These Things.
I will add the obvious.
It is clear that the greedy evil fucks who are destroying the world as
we speak are not going to do it. If you
freeze in the headlights like a frightened animal, and an evil bastard is
driving the car; you are dead. Evil
people are calling the shots. It is not
a joke. The shit is really
happening. Wake up please.
